You are welcome to join us in St. Petersburg, Russia July 4–8, 2016 for the Tenth International Colloquium on Pulsed and Continuous Detonations.
The objective of the Colloquium is to provide a forum to disseminate to the scientific community the international state-of-the-art and advancements made in experimental and computational fundamental and applied studies relevant to propulsion and stationary power systems of new generation operating on controlled detonations of gaseous, liquid and solid propellants. The Colloquium is contemplated as a continuation of the previous nine colloquia on detonations co-sponsored by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and US Office of Naval Research (“Advances in Experimentation and Computation of Detonations” held in St. Petersburg in 1998; “Control of Detonation Processes” held in Moscow in 2000; “Advances in Confined Detonations” held in Moscow in 2002; “Application of Detonation to Propulsion” held in St. Petersburg in 2004; “Fifth International Colloquium on Pulsed and Continuous Detonations” held in Moscow in 2006; “Sixth International Colloquium on Pulsed and Continuous Detonations” held in Moscow in 2008; “Seventh International Colloquium on Pulsed and Continuous Detonations” held in St. Petersburg in 2010; “Eight International Colloquium on Pulsed and Continuous Detonations” held in Budva Riviera, Republic of Montenegro in 2012; and “Ninth International Colloquium on Pulsed and Continuous Detonations” held in St. Petersburg, Pushkin in 2014. Saint-Petersburg is the Northern capital of Russia, its cultural, historical and architectural center! Saint-Petersburg was named in honor of patron saint of Peter The Great, who founded the city more than 300 years ago and for more than 200 years (till 1917) it was Russian capital. Peter the Great modeled the city after European capitals and it has been referred as Russia's "Window into Europe" for a long time.St.Petersburg is divided into numerous islands by rivers and canals and is often called as the "Northern Venice". Saint-Petersburg together with its palaces, museums, theatres, distant suburbs and their parks is renowned piece of the world's cultural heritage.The Organizing Committee is planning the exciting cultural program for participants and accompanying persons.

Tentative Technical Program

 

This is to inform you that the Tentative Technical Program of the 10th International Colloquium on Pulsed and Continuous Detonations (July 4-8, 2016, St. Petersburg, Russia) has been composed.

At this time, the Organizing Committee calls for the topic of Panel Discussion at the Colloquium, one of the most significant events. If you have any suggestion, please let us know by May 16, 2016. It is implied that the materials of Panel Discussion (2-page manuscript) will be collected in May-June 2016 and published in the book of extended abstracts to be available at on-site registration.
