Scope

The objective of the Colloquium is to provide a forum to disseminate to the scientific community the international state-of-the-art and advancements made in experimental and computational fundamental and applied studies relevant to propulsion and stationary power systems operating on controlled detonations of gaseous, liquid, and solid propellants.

The Colloquium is contemplated as a continuation of the previous thirteen colloquia on detonations (“Advances in Experimentation and Computation of Detonations” held in St. Petersburg in 1998; “Control of Detonation Processes” held in Moscow in 2000; “Advances in Confined Detonations” held in Moscow in 2002; “Application of Detonation to Propulsion” held in St. Petersburg in 2004; “Fifth International Colloquium on Pulsed and Continuous Detonations (ICPCD)” held in Moscow in 2006; “Sixth ICPCD” held in Moscow in 2008; “Seventh ICPCD” held in St. Petersburg in 2010; “Eighth ICPCD” held in Budva Riviera, Republic of Montenegro in 2012; “Ninth ICPCD” held in Pushkin (St. Petersburg) in 2014, “Tenth ICPCD” held in St. Petersburg in 2016, “Eleventh ICPCD” held in St. Petersburg in 2018, “Twelfth ICPCD” held in St. Petersburg in 2020, and “Thirteenth ICPCD” held in St. Petersburg in 2022.
